This is the debut album from Chicago-based trio Horsegirl. They are a part of the Hallogallo scene within Chicago, which involves a bunch of incredible alt-rock bands including Post Office Winter, Lifeguard, Friko and more. Definitely worth checking all those bands out!
This album is full of catchy hooks, gritty guitars and charming melodies. The songs have an addictive quality to them, branching somewhere between pop, rock and post-punk. The perfect combination!
