Co-produced with Tom Iansek (#1 Dads, Big Scary) in London at the Crowe’s Nest Studio (Lianne Le Havas, Little Simz) with band Lewis Coleman and Jess Ellwood. The acclaimed queer singer-songwriter from South Africa (now living in Australia) explains in 11 songs how she has managed to claw back meaning from a dramatic childhood, and how “the point” really lies in sitting across the table from your girl, even with the world being on fire, brothers trying to die and the unfortunate tendency of men to stack magazines on their coffee table for intellectual show.

With her quintessential dry wit, literary prowess and distinct voice over a minimal sound, Ruby leaves no stone unturned, hunting down every ghost that’s haunted her so that we can all look them straight in the eye.
