RINSE is the solo project of the prolific Naarm/Melbourne-via-Meanjin/Brisbane artist Joe Agius (he/him) - known also for performing, co-writing and producing with much loved Australian act Hatchie. Showing another side of Agius' repertoire in meticulously written pop songs dressed with shoegaze guitars and 80s drums, RINSE has been likened to the golden era of The Cure, My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins.
Agius has released two EPs as RINSE, and generated over 1 million streams cross-platform, performed with RVG, and across his music output has received widespread support and airplay from the likes of Stereogum, KEXP, triple j, NPR, The FADER, NME, Paper Magazine, Purple Sneakers, triple j Unearthed, FBi Radio, Triple R, PBS FM, 2SER and many others.
We're really excited to put together RINSE's first two EPs on one beautiful heavyweight clear teal vinyl record. Sinkerº (2023) and 2024's Starfish* are back-to-back on sides A & B.
