Composer/musician Daniel Rafet Grima presents his thematic debut via Research Records. Limited to 300 copies, this double A-side explores ambient music, jazz, and devotional music through its arrangement and lyricism, accompanied by reworks from Iti (UK) and Kuniyuki Takahashi (Japan).

Rafet began studying music at a young age, with his tertiary education focusing on jazz. Growing up between Australia and his family's village of Miniara (North Lebanon), he later delved into maqamat and traditional Arabic music after his formal studies. After composing for multiple ensembles and performing in various projects over the years, Rafet now embraces his own artistry with You Are In The Embrace of The History. This body of work is deeply personal, sighting connection to a land, spirit and devotion to a holy other.
