Two years after the release of Corac o Louco (EP), Briard's first body of work sung entirely in Portuguese, French artist Laure Briard has once again united with acclaimed Brazilian psych-rock group, Boogarins and long-time collaborators Vincent Guyot (aka “Pieuvre”) and Marius Duflot, for new Portuguese-sung EP Eu Voo.
Out now via Dinosaur City Records (Australia/NZ), Eu Voo explores the intensity of emotions, themes of love, sadness and voyage, magic and mysticism, while taking musical cues from the tropicalism of Gal Costa and the Novos Baianos groove.
