Titled Underneath, their third album was born during a period of heavy touring at home and overseas; a time full of firsts, travels to new places, and playing some of their biggest gigs and festivals to date. Despite these moments of transience, they found immense closeness and catharsis during the writing process. The songs that have emerged represent a process of reckoning, reflection and growth both individually and as a group - a collective meditation on their vulnerabilities, hopes, fears, anticipations, passions and tensions. Through explosive Australiana, alt-rock soundscapes, Floodlights paint a picture of what's beneath the surface, and a metamorphosis at play.
