Dune Rats 'If It Sucks, Turn It Up' LP Opaque Lemon Vinyl

The last 18 months have seen Dune Rats tour the world twice over, packing rooms throughout the US, Canada, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, France, South Africa, Ireland, and over 30 shows in the UK. Back in Australia, the Dunies played a slew of headline and festival gigs across the country, including a massive Splendour In The Grass set where they belted out their hit Triple J Like A Version cover of The Angels' "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again."

Somehow, around all this, Danny, BC, and Brett knuckled down to write a bunch of new songs that would become their fifth studio album, "If It Sucks, Turn It Up" - the follow-up to their two #1 ARIA Albums ‘The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit’ - 2017, and ‘Hurry Up And Wait’ - 2020 and their 2022 ARIA Australian #1 Album ‘Real Rare Whale’. Featuring singles "Be Like You" and "Solar Eyes," the album's sounds are born from a combination of the album muse, Regurgitator's ‘UNIT’, and their drive to keep evolving and having fun with their music, especially on the stage. "If It Sucks, Turn It Up" is a rollercoaster of good times, hard truths, 90's nostalgia, and stoner pop fuzzy goodness.
