The band has called it their quickest recording session yet, and that urgency comes through across tracks like I'm Now and The Lucky Ones. It stays true to the raw, fuzzed out garage punk energy Mudhoney built their name on, even while approaching songwriting from a different angle than their earlier records.

Formed in Seattle in 1988, Mudhoney are widely recognised as true pioneers of the grunge movement, laying the groundwork that peers like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden would later build commercial success on. The band has maintained a fiercely independent, underground ethos ever since, still active today with most of their original lineup intact.
