Spike Fck emerged from Melbourne’s underground with confessional songwriting and brutal honesty. After a four year hiatus, during which rumours swirled about death, institutions, or even life as a monk, Spike returned sober, clear-eyed, and transformed.

Live from Underground is the first document of this Spike Fuck's rebirth: a live album recorded to tape at Underground Audio Brisbane after a run of sold out comeback shows. Spike is no longer alone with a backing track, but fronting a rotating full band. Together they channel ’70s glam, spiritual soul, and damaged rock’n’roll; always refracted through Spike’s unmistakable, bruised, and poetic voice.

Live from Underground is a testament to friendship and communion. The beloved, reimagined songs reckon with grief, faith, and survival, and bloom into moments of collective joy, where Spike’s past solitude gives way to harmony.
