Nodding to the infamous and extremely rare 'Enjoy Jimi Hendrix' Rubber Dubber bootleg, this King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard 'Live At Barracuda' double LP captures a 2016 live show from the Australian psych polymaths in Austin, Texas. We first released this one a couple years back but given the artwork we couldn't resist bringing it back on coke bottle clear vinyl. It sold out super fast last time so don't sleep on it.Β
Recorded at the now-shuttered Barracuda club on May 1st 2016 and mixed by King Gizz's Stu Mackenzie, with an exclusive master by James Plotkin, the show was part of a US run in support of that year's 'Nonagon Infinity' LP. As well as Nonagon heavy-hitters like 'Robot Stop', 'People Vultures', 'Gamma Knife' and 'Evil Death Roll', the band storm through early Gizz bangers from 'I'm In Your Mind Fuzz', 'Paper Mache Dream Balloon', 'Quarters' and '12 Bar Bruise'.
