Product details
Ripple on the Wing is a sweet and spooky modern take on classic soul music. Echoing the 1960s lowrider love songs with haunting cinematic arrangements, Ella's lyrics explore themes of belonging both to the microscopic and the universal. She invites listeners to contemplate the vast expanse of human emotion and the interconnectedness of all things. The album is backed by an impeccable band featuring members of Surprise Chef alongside other Melbourne/Naarm soul luminaries.
