Described by Stephen Pastel in The Quietus as "one of the great unknown English groups”, Movietone spawned out of the collective of acts that were associated with the Bristol-based Planet Records label in the early 90s, including Flying Saucer Attack, Third Eye Foundation, Crescent and Hood.
